It is said that from the flames and ashes of a burning ancient city rose Pegasus, a winged steed with a beautiful Fairy Queen on his back and they set off on a journey to new beginnings.

So it must have been with us. Ten years ago this year we battle hardened business types looked around at the flames of bitter competitiveness and the ashes of so-called success and were somehow lifted from that place and our fairy journey began.

Our only guide was imagination. How else could we have gone from recruiting for the executive suites of Canada's financial capitol to creating fairies in a 100 year old renovated church in Prince Edward County? How else could a childhood inclination and part time hobby grow into our full time avocation? To this day our old associates look at us with puzzlement and incredulity when we respond to the often-asked question-"What are you up to now?" Along the way our little troupe has expanded, adding Treflow the great wizard, Jake the elf and many, many eye-popping fairies. Teresa's mother Lorna, booth helpers Doreen and Suzanne and fairy costumer and neighbour Brenda have all joined us at various stages along the path. And of course, we wouldn't be anywhere without our most important asset-YOU!

Whether from the beginning of our ten years or somewhere along the way, we would not have got this far without you.
Thank You

Thank you for the humor and smiles you bring into our booth and your looks of awe and wonder when you first see the fairies.

Thank you for your ideas that have spurred on some of our creations and challenge us to keep bringing you new and exciting fairies.

Thank you for understanding when little snags arise or when we are learning on-the-job.

Thank you for your stories and sharing with us how your fairies bring joy to your life.

And yes, Thank You for your business but most important, thank you for being more than a customer and for allowing us to call you friend.

May your inner child always hear the whispers of enchantment.
"May your eyes be always open.
May your hearts overflow.
That which enchants will also protect-
May this you always know"

Thank you from Teresa, Terry , Brutus, Jake, Treflow and our entire fairy realm.

Fairy Facts

Fairies often hide what you want and show you what you need.
Fairies can be profound but also profoundly annoying if neglected.
They may be responsible for a spot on your clothing before an important meeting,
a snag or run in your nylons at an inopportune time or a very bad hair day.
Pay attention and they will be good to us.
One tip is to leave out a fairy snack at night when you go to bed.
When you awake, the food will still be there but all the goodness
within it will be gone.

The Flower Painter

It is said that for every single flower there is a fairy that embodies its essence and spirit. It is this fairy who creates the colour of each flower. She carefully selects tones from the palette of Iris, the Fairy Deva of the Rainbow and then she meticulously paints and shades her flower. When she is done, the flower is ready to receive us as visitors to ooh and aah over the miracle that is nature. When you comment on the beautiful colour of a flower you are complimenting a fairy.

Our Flower Painter is a sweet fairy girl about 5" tall with red hair pulled back over one shoulder and stands on a wood base surrounded in flowers. She wears a tulle and flower petal dress and holds her palette in one hand and a paint brush in the other as she goes about her work.

Price: $99.00

Fairies We Have Known

Morigu
Morigu or Morgana is said to be King Arthur's half sister and was one of the three Fairy Queens who took a mortally wounded King Arthur to Avalon to be healed. She was tutored by Merlin himself and was very skilled in high magic and was especially adept at the ancient art of shape shifting. Morigu enters our lives in difficult times to use her profound wisdom to stimulate our creative imagination to guide our journey through the darkness and into the light.

The Fire Devas
The Fire Devas brought humans fire, which was once only the pocession of the Gods. They are considered the supreme fairy of the elemental realm. Fire Devas manifest themselves in many ways. They can be seen as the molten centre of a volcano, or as a Sun Deva. They can be Smoke Spirits or the great Devas who create lightning. They can be as camouflaged as a dancing flame from a simple candle. Being of such high energy they can be hard to control and stir great passion and inspiration within us.
