A great celebration is about to begin. Some of the fairy realm has been preparing for this for almost 1,000 years. The musicians are rehearsing with their fiddles and flutes and their harps and tambourines to play the type of music that makes your toes want to dance on their own. As the elderberry wine ages and the mead brews, a fabulous feast is being prepared. Great mounds of fairy cakes with snowflake icing, baskets of sweets and candies in all the colours of the rainbow and platters of the freshest breads, exotic fruits and savory nuts will overflow the enchanted tables.
The great fairy hall is adorned with bouquets of every imaginable flower. Gold and silver streamers embellished with rubies, emeralds and sapphires criss-cross the hall suspended from the ceilings. Wreaths of heather, holly and hawthorn beautify the walls and the moonbeams are captured and reflected through chandeliers encrusted in diamonds. They will all be there. Tuatha de Danaan, the daughter of the fairy Goddess Dana, Treflow, the wizard and loyal assistant to Fables, Fantasy & Fairy Tales, Jake the elf and troops and troops of fairies and other mystical creatures to feast and celebrate.
It is even rumored that King Arthur will be awakened for this gala!
Will you be there? The Millennium is the most powerful "Tween Time" we mortals will ever see. Its an intersection between the two realms and if we can find the doorway to the fairy realm it is said that it will be left ajar for us. Maybe as we nestle into our bed this magical night and begin to drift to sleep our dreams will take us there and we will realize we have been invited too!

| We sprinkled a little fairy dust into the glass ball and when the fairy flew in, we put the cap on really quickly! Thats the story behind this mysterious fairy in a ball. This fairy is sitting on a leaf and is surrounded by rosebuds. A sleeping fairy on a cloud or surrounded by fairy dust is equally beautiful. We will customize your fairy in a bubble to make her your own. She makes an ideal Christmas gift or another way to experience the magic of Christmas in your own home. | ||

A Fairy Collectors True Story
Thanks to my father, as a child I had the joy of believing in the tooth fairy. To this day I remember the thrill of losing a tooth and the eagerness of going to bed with my tooth tucked under my pillow. Id try to stay awake in hope of capturing a glimpse of a dainty little fairy who would fearlessly come to my bed and take my tooth. I always fell asleep.
Now, as an adult and a teacher, when I came into possession of a sleeping fairy from Fables, Fantasy & Fairy Tales, I had to take it to school. A child in a grade one class beside mine was telling a friend that shed lost a tooth that night. She was elated at the possibility of a fairy coming to her house that night. I told them that one lived at my house and I often found her sleeping during the day. They were impressed and asked a lot of questions.I told them I could bring her to school if the whole class would be very quiet. Why? Because as long as she was asleep she wouldnt be frightened and fly away. I told them when fairies sleep they turn themselves "status-like" as a protection from harm. Only when they are awake do they move.
The next day I brought her to school in a little flowerpot blanketed in lace. Putting my finger to my mouth to signal to the kids to be quiet, I sat down on my chair. The kids moved all around me and it was amazing. You could have heard a pin drop. Except for the sound of little gasps of surprise and delight, the room was incredibly silent! They were in awe!
Needless to say, that class of twenty-eight children all believes in the wondrous magic of fairies. Hopefully they will continue to keep this creativity alive for the next generation.
Thank you for making such beautiful, delightful fairies for young and old.
